MacBook Pro - Love It
I have owned Macs since 2000, but I've never owned a laptop. Therefore it is difficult to compare this with others but I must say I'm a hard time prying me away from my wonderful little MBP. I had been waiting and waiting ... and waiting patiently for Apple to improve their Mbps and when it finally came out, I must admit that I was disappointed not to upgrade the 13 "... but then I read more and thought and realized it is not really a big problem. what I need, the 13 "suits me perfectly. Furthermore, reading this article helped shed light on why Apple did not put the i5 in '13.

Apple creates techno high art. The style looks elegant and beautiful of all their products are like porn to a project artsy nerd like me. The solid feel of the thing is too big. I only have my property for a day, so I can not say much about battery life so far, but I know that one was one of the improvements in the update, so I'm sure to impress. The trackpad is quite impressive. It took very little time for me to get used to how it works.
On a side note, I was very pleased with my service from Amazon. Placed my order Saturday evening and was dispatched from Tuesday.

MacBook Pro - It Blows Away My Windows Laptop
They are usually moved to write reviews only when a product is either terrible or wonderful, and this is no exception. The new MacBook Pro 13 "is a beautiful piece of machinery, and just what I needed after years of struggle with a Dell laptop. I am a freelance writer with hard deadlines and have lost many a project finished articles due to shutdowns random blocks, data loss and other problems with your PC. I just got my new Macbook for a couple of days, but has already burned my old computer out of the water.
That's not to say that my experience with this Macbook will always be smooth, but I know it works smoothly and intuitively that I'm already saving a lot of time that was spent previously turn my thumbs while the clumsy, slow PC attempted to perform the simplest of tasks. The transition from PC to Macbook was very smooth - only took me a day of DIY to get the hang of it - it all makes sense * only *.
My only gripe is the extreme reflectivity of the glass screen (order from Amazon, I did not even realize an anti-reflective screen was a choice). But this is really no biggie considering the abundance of professionals.
